Christian Hope Office<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Christian Hope Office was founded in Amman in 2007 by a group of secular individuals with deep faith and a strong commitment to God and the Church. The office plays a significant role in supporting the local church’s social and humanitarian work in coordination with the clergy .. The office is subordinates to the Catholic Church Board of the Holy Land and works under the umbrella and supervision of the Latin Bishop in Jordan.<\/p>

The Office provides services to all churches and denominations with no exceptions, through well designed and studied programs that meet social and community needs. Each program is planned, supervised and executed by a designated committee.<\/p>

In addition, the Office offers a host of special programs, which are managed and implemented by a full-time, dedicated team, led by board of directors and its various committees. The work is institutionalized and the team operates in full transparency, applying best practices in administration and financial processes.<\/p>

The Office provides suitable mechanisms and infrastructures to incubate any initiatives that support those in need, from all Christian sects. Our Programs<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Currently, the Office manages and implements the following social and humanitarian programs:<\/p>

  1. The Student Program: <\/strong>This program is built on a strong belief in the positive and impactful role students can play in building and strengthening their communities and church. By giving students the opportunity to pursue their education, develop their knowledge, and nurture their Christian spirituality and compassion.. We provide the required financial support for students in need to complete their elementary and secondary school education by enrolling them in Christian schools in Jordan and following up on their progress thereafter.<\/li>
  2. \u201cOur Family\u201d Program \u2013 usratuna-:<\/strong> We also believe that healthy and cohesive families contribute to the safety and wellbeing of the whole society. Our Family Program offers various developments, preventative and solving problems, to support families within our community. Our mission is to help families face their challenges with the utmost courage and resilience, by tapping into their deep Christian values and faith \u2013 and subsequently carrying those values to future generations.<\/li>
  3. Inmates Support Program:<\/strong> Jesus said, \u201cWhatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.\u201d (If I was in prison and you visited me). The Office coordinates regular visits to inmates by volunteers, including clergy , for moral support and positive interaction. During such visits, the volunteers encourage inmates to pray and read the Bible so they can gain the strength to find inner peace, seek God’s forgiveness and accept their reality with conviction and hope. The program also offers psychological counseling, social services, and legal assistance to help inmates overcome the ordeal of their sentence and prepare them to reintegrate, to become a productive member of the society.<\/li>
  4. The Consolation Program:<\/strong> This program supports any initiative for children with special needs or from broken families, and care for the elderly.
    • The Children’s Home of the Lady of the Mountain at Anjara: Currently, the program is providing such needed support for the Children’s Home of the Lady of the Mountain at Anjara, which hosts disadvantaged children who live under difficult circumstances. A group of ladies was formed \u201cFriends of the Children’s Home of Hope\u201d conduct regular visits and spend time with the children in a loving and familial setting, working to reinforce Christian values and a spirit of love and care. This is critical to prepare the children for the future and help them integrate well into the society. The group also holds regular events and activities to raise funds for the Program.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • The \u201cBlessed Be You\u201d Program (Toubakom):<\/strong> This program provides financial and in-kind support for Christian families living in harsh physical conditions.. It offers services such as renovating, fixing and furnishing old and damaged homes so families can live with dignity in a healthy and safe environment.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      The Christian Hope Office cooperates and coordinates with various Christian and social organizations inside and outside Jordan.
